Before the age of 31, I took snapshots with my point-n-shoot camera. I love to take pictures and also love having my own pictures taken. I would shoot everything that interests me. So in early 2006 I became seriously interested in photography, bought my first DSLR camera, and started my self-taught photography journey.
It all started with my husband changing his career from high-tech to real estate and launching our own real estate team. We set out to take better real estate photos for our clients, which became the main reason I obsessed with good imagery.
After three years I was convinced that photography is not just a hobby, it’s something I want to do as a life-long career So I signed up for the 5-month intense Career Training Program at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana, absorbed all the information they gave us like crazy, and made some good friends over the summer.
I know Food and Interior are the two main subjects that I wanted to specialize in because I am obsessed with food, interior design, and household items. I love the look when bright and airy natural window light hits well prepared food or a unique interior that makes me happy, feel energized, and appreciate the life I have.
I love to laugh, love to learn, and love to dream. My journey with photography just began and I would love to have you as part of it. My long time favorite quote is “Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe” by Oprah Winfrey.
